Britni P. Zarin Scholarship Fund

About Us

The Britni P. Zarin Scholarship Fund is an organization that is funded solely by donations that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children through the art of dance. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to study dance in a positive, friendly, professional environment instilling self-discipline, commitment, building self esteem and the ability to communicate well in a group. These skills developed in dance can also be valuable transferable skills that can be applied to any career path. There are numerous professions in dance from dancing, teaching, choreography or dance notation. In addition to this, people work in the dance industry as; community dance practitioners, promoters, producers, designers, publicists, technicians, physiotherapists, medical and alternative practitioners, therapists, writers and academics. Each recipient will be mentored by their teachers and the fund administration teaching them to stay focused and committed on achieving their dream.  These dancers will be required to give back by assisting other dancers at their dance schools and participating in our outreach programs helping others the way the Scholarship Fund helped them.
